Tips for Capturing Mouthwatering Food Photos

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started experimenting with food photography and I’m struggling to make my dishes look as appetizing in photos as they do in real life. I usually shoot with natural light, but sometimes the colors seem dull or the textures don’t pop.

I’m also unsure about composition should I focus on close-ups, overhead shots, or a mix? Do you have tips for styling food to make it more photogenic, or editing tricks to enhance colors and textures without overdoing it?

Any advice from experienced food photographers would be amazing.
